About Black Warrior

What began as a conversation about dreams, business ideas, and opportunities, Black Warrior Coffee Company is a blend of love for coffee, love for community, and the opportunity to provide our local community in Tuscaloosa (and surrounding areas) with its very own coffee roaster.

There are several coffee shops in town, all of which provide their own unique experiences. Black Warrior Coffee isn’t a coffee shop. We are a roasting company. We provide beans to our local shops to deliver great tasting coffee that they and their patrons can be proud of.

Many people prefer to drink coffee in the comfort of their own home. That’s why we also provide whole bean and ground coffee direct-to-consumer, so you can keep Black Warrior Coffee in your pantry at home. If you wish to support local and discontinue purchasing the large manufactures’ coffee brands, choose Black Warrior Coffee Company.

We also sell merchandise so you can truly embrace the local coffee community and support/represent the Black Warrior Coffee brand.

    Cyle, the mad scientist, the craftsman, the brains behind the beans, is originally from California. He drinks, sleeps, and breathes coffee and knows his way around a roaster.
